The book is for kids ages 6–10. This website is for the adults who buy it, read it with them, and teach it: parents, teachers, and librarians. Some pages are interactive tools a child may use with an adult.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The kids’ tools are built so they can’t:
The signup and review forms are for adults. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Students never need an account, a login, an email address, or any personal information to use anything on this site. The printable classroom resources are plain web pages you print to PDF. The kids’ tools listed above load no analytics and set no cookies. The only outside request some of them make is for a web font from Google Fonts, which, like any web request, receives the device’s IP address. If your district needs a data privacy agreement or a vendor questionnaire completed, email us.

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to tell one visit from another. Google signals and ad personalization are switched off, both in our Analytics account and in the site’s own code, so visits aren’t tied to Google accounts or used for ads. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and a 3D graphics library from cdnjs (Cloudflare). Those services receive your IP address when your browser asks for the file, the same as any website. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps standard server logs. Links to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Stripe take you to sites with their own policies.
We don’t sell personal information. We don’t share it for advertising. We share it only with the services listed above so they can do their job, or if the law requires it.
Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Reviews and emails: as long as they’re useful for answering you or featuring the review, and we delete them on request. Google Analytics data: kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, then deleted automatically by Google.
Email questions@clarencegetsabargain.com to see, correct, or delete anything you’ve sent us, or to pull a review off the site. Parents can do the same on behalf of a child. We’ll answer within 30 days.
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date at the top.
